I read a lot of information that says he needs a bottom drain. I'm building around 1500 gal koi pond. I have a Savio skimmer and waterfall filter. Do I need to get a bottom drain too? I also read that the gravel at the bottom is a bad deal, because it provides a place to sit and waste more . . .
