What class of pump, filter, waterfall you advocate for my fish pond? By Alexander.

You are looking at an average of 2000 gallons in your pond. When looking for a pump, pump the minimum required at least 50% of the volume of the lake.

You need a pump to move water across the lake at least 1000 gallons per hour for the filtering of ammonia.

But then the waterfall comes into play.

The waterfall is raised from the water level so you will need more pump to meet the need of pushing up the water from the depth at which you put a pump (4 feet). I recommend getting a pump that circulates 2000 gallons per hour at 0 ft, to reduce the flow deeper depth.

There are a lot pumps and I would like to recommend is ebay. Look for a pump that would fit Jebao sas.Oso need for the filter you need a skimmer and a UV clarification to keep the lake clean.

You can make your skimmer rather than buy one for hundreds of dollars (youtube). With regard to clarifying UV, or to find a piece of the same or UV pressure pond filter for 2000 gallons.

There are many other Jebao recommended for quality and price. When finished pond 2 days ago and I am happy to assist you in any other matter relating to your pond. I have pictures of my lake, if you want to see.

I think that the showerhead is a clever, whimsical touch. Take one of those big heads rainshower and train a flowering vine growing up the tube. Great fun!

The fountain will give the look of state-of-the-art. . .

Adding plants and proper lighting LED (I’m thinking blue, purple and pink and yellow):))

    Sounds interesting.

You can paint it red or blue light as well? Would look great with chrome fittings.

Yes, you will need a pump to push around. 2,000-2,500 gph @ zero pressure at the feet of his head. Every foot that the water must pass vertically will reduce the amount of water discharged from the other side of the plumbing.

Some pumps mentioned the nominal pressure pumps (push more water “uphill”).

There are other pumps that pumps out a movement (as seen through a fish tank).

You need a pressure rated pump.

You can also get a pump that is submersible or external balanced. Submersible pumps are generally not rated pressure. Thus, the best pump for a waterfall to external pumps.

The Snapper sequence as shown here:
Http://www.Saltwatercritters.com/inc/sdetail/1261 is an excellent pump for the purpose for sas.Opos skimmer.

There is no such thing as a protein skimmer for freshwater. Protein skimmers will work only in salt water.

So do not do the same with anxiety. Read here: http://freshaquarium.
