You can build a rock waterfall not only by a pond, but for a pool, spa, or garden, especially with the step by step ideas and instructions in Artificial Rock Waterfalls: Rock processing techniques for the professional and the amateur. Production of fountains and waterfalls that look entirely natural, mixing in an existing thread or the environment, and understand the materials and construction techniques of the different layers in a guide that is loaded with photos of the step by step process .

A very informative book, full of information that most of the construction industry concerns that closely guarded secrets.
A lot of pictures to go along with good writing techniques and methods. Could include more information about the different types of surface rocks (there is much more in the rocks and boulders with rounded surfaces natuarally) However, very useful.

It is a pity that the only book on this subject is so weak because it is a fun topic.
The author is a person who has made many great waterfalls facilities and environments of the zoo.
But unfortunately, English is not your first language, I think it is concrete. Seems to have been published without passing through a ghost writer, an editor, a beta tester and a proof reader.
It is primarily a business promotion for the author.
It is clumsy in the way he states it really is not a very complicated process. I found web pages with more useful information, photos, better, better written and cements real recipes that you will get Example of writing a sidebar in the same chapter: "IMPORTANT NOTE: Going overboard with anticipation of an extension of two feet off the work area after making concessions to fill the cracks, the depth of the lagoon , irregular shapes, etc. "Another example:" The concrete mixture of fiber will help to ensure that 'stacks' easier and looks more "natural" environment. " or this definition of grout Glossary: "a waste of a weak and non-durable material consisting of cement, aggregates, fines, or impurities brought to the surface of wet concrete over the bleed water" You will also find valuable advice like this: "Before starting to paint, decide what colors to paint your rock." The photos are amateur, in the shade and incomplete.
The illustrations are enjoyable.
A conspicuous absence is a discussion about the aesthetics of the stone, the possibilities of design, beauty and expression as possible when creating in the middle of the Almighty, the rock and stone.
There was also no mention of the different types of stone to imitate and what those might be and how about some pictures of a variety of geological formations of the land for at least stimulate some ideas in the mind of the reader and the most provide a directory of types of stone and places to look beyond geology. In Kinkade's world there is a type of stone.
The kind you buy in your company preformed panels of fake rock.

Chapter 1 – Planning and design takes the reader through the site planning and design of the rock and water feature including concept development, plan view and elevation view.
The author stresses have a clear concept and design of the proposed building. This detailed planning is paramount to a successful outcome. Chapters 2 and 3 deal with the water of the rock and water feature. Beginning with the mechanical system and considerations of water flow through pipes and pumps and ending with the filtration and purification, these chapters help the reader plan for these systems. In Chapter 4, will start building our project with the pond and the base of the structure. Chapter 5 concerns the construction of the truss structure of the rock with steel bars and wire mesh and also illustrates the use of alternatives such as steel bolts, wood, and EPS construction instead of steel bars. Chapter 6 deals with the adhesion layer and texture layer that illustrates the implementation and use of latex skins to impart a realistic texture of the surface. Chapter 7 offers painting techniques for finishing the structure that closely resemble natural rocks – a most important part of artificial rock to look like natural rock. Chapter 8, the final chapter takes the reader through step by step construction of a characteristic of the rock. This book is richly illustrated with color photos and black and white drawings throughout to explain the processes illustrated visually.
The back of the book consists of 3 pages of suppliers of materials and a 9-page glossary of terms, something that should be welcomed, especially for beginners. En conjunto este libro está bien escrito e ilustrado y, obviamente, viene de muchos años de experiencia en el campo.
